Looking for Kids Aged 5-10 from across New England to Assist Master Model Builder
BOSTON (March 20, 2017)- LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston announced today the search for their 2017-2018 Creative Crew. The Creative Crew are twelve children aged 5-10 who will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive building sessions with LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston Master Model Builder Megan Amaral, attend special events and be the first to test new rides and games. The Creative Crew will also serve as a “kid panel” to share tips about everything from the best seat in the 4D theater to how to get the highest score on rides and other little known facts about visiting LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston.
The contest launches today, March 20, on LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Facebook page and will run through Sunday, April 30. To apply, children must answer the question, “What does LEGO mean to you?” and submit a video or photo with a written answer. Submissions should also include an original LEGO build that the child has created. The contest is open to children throughout New England who are willing to come to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston once a month for Creative Crew events.
Winners will be chosen by Megan Amaral and announced on Monday, May 8th on LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Facebook page. The induction of the new Creative Crew will be held on Sunday, June 4.

“I meet with the Creative Crew monthly to teach them new LEGO building techniques, show them a new part of the attraction or celebrate one of our special events,” said Megan Amaral, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder. “We are looking for creative and passionate kids from across New England who want to have fun trying out new parts of the attraction and can help us spread the word of all the cool things LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston has to offer.”
