On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, I was assigned marked unit West 6. At approximately 3:29 am, I was dispatched to 360 Highland Ave for the report of a B&E in progress. Officer Driscoll (West 5), Officer Torres (West 7), Officer Moreira (East 3), Officer Nardone (Sector West), and Sgt. Marino (S8), all responded as backup. 11th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest at The Independent Union Square neighborhood bar hosts their annual night of pumpkin art


 

WHAT: On October 27, The Independent in Somerville’s Union Square will challenge Halloween faithful to create the ultimate pumpkin art at their eleventh annual event. Hosted in anticipation of All Hallows Eve, The Indo’s Pumpkin Carving Contest will pit teams against each other to determine whose decorating skills reign supreme.
