This past Weekend, the Somerville AgriCultural festival moved to its rain-date on Sunday to celebrate the 2nd Somerville’s first ever AgriCultural Festival.
The event was a celebration of everything we grow from the earth, and the people who grow it.

The festival created and presented a fantastical festival to celebrate Somerville farmers, artists and new urban ag initatives at the new ArtFarm site, the location of the former incinerator that’s located on Linwood Street.
The festival included booths for growers who displayed their produce, chances for urban agriculturists to share knowledge, talks, hands on demonstrations, and participatory art who showcased the rich diversity of our communities.
Square dance calling and music by Old-Time Square Dance with the Dead Sea Squirrels and caller Tony Parkes entertained the large crowd under misty weather conditions.
