Once again the seniors at Cobble Hill Apartments were treated to a spectacular performance by the Sunsetters. “It gets better every year” remarked several long time residents, as many new residents were impressed at the talented young performers under the direction of Jimmy DelPonte. Regardless of who had a cane or a walker, everyone stood up and joined in for the Star Spangled Banner and then cheered on the young singers after each song. “Jimmy’s humor is always a part of the show” remarked a lifelong resident of Somerville who’s child and grandchild were once part of the long tradition the group has been in the city. As usual. the show closed with a very happy bunch of elders that left with a “song in their heart” and a big smile on their face.
