The Somerville News Weekly’s Special Persons of the Week The Dracut Fire Department

Dracut Firefighter Tim Grimes, the coordinator, and his crew of Dracut Firefighters have been participating with the Somerville Toys for Local Children organization’s program for the past ten years here in Somerville.

They are the highest producing fire department with tens of thousands of dollars worth of toys donated to the program to date.

They have always stepping up to the plate to support Somerville’s Toys for Local Children whenever called upon.

Recently this past Saturday night they were also the highest bidder of $550.00 for the past two years in a row winning the grand prize donation for Somerville TLC of “A Night on the Boston Harbor aboard the Somerville News Boat Marisa” and they are looking forward to spending a day and night on the harbor enjoying Somerville’s Waterfront.

We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
