On March 7, 2014, at 5:39 pm, police responded to 15 Elm St for a motor vehicle accident. The reporting party, reported she was involved in a minor
motor vehicle accident, and believes the other operator if intoxicated.

​Upon arrival police made contact with the defendant while he was sitting in the driver’s seat of his car. As police approached the defendant exited the motor vehicle, immediately stumbling into the middle of the street. Police detected a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Police also observed the defendant’s eyes to be very glassy. He was identified this male by a Florida’s drivers license as Michael Anderson.

​When asked by police if he had been drinking the defendant admitted to having two heavy beers. Police administered a series of field sobriety tests, to determine whether or not he could safely operate a motor vehicle, to which he agreed to. The defendant was deemed to have failed this series of tests and was placed in custody for chapter 90/24/J. He was transported to the station by Officer Teves in unit 200, where I issued him citation R4782201 for the above offense.
