Narrative
On Tuesday December 2nd 2013, at approximately 11:35 A.M. while on patrol in marked unit E-2 along with officer Legros, I was dispatched to 22 Mcgrath Hwy Marshalls Department Store for a report of a shoplifter.

Upon arrival, I met with RP loss prevention officer, . He stated that while monitoring the store surveillance system, he observed the defendant in the back of the store near the bathroom looking around suspiciously while talking to another female. He further stated that he observed the defendant removing a price tag and the sensor from a pair of black Puma sneakers and placing them in her purse while moving to a different location in the store. He also allegedly observed the defendant removing a Nine West Love Fury item along with a Dolce Gabana Perfume, and Ed Hardy perfume from their original boxes and placing them into her purse as well before walking to the register where she only paid for a makeup kit. At that point, lp followed the defendant and stopped her outside right at the edge of the exit door. lp brought her back into the loss prevention office where all items were recovered and the police notified. LP2 who also works loss prevention corroborated with all statements made by lp1 . A copy of the surveillance video was provided to Somerville Police as evidence. I would like to note that loss prevention informed us that the defendant was previously arrested in another Marshalls branch in Boston for Larceny Over.
