On Friday, two of our patrol officers officially stepped into leadership roles as they were promoted to the rank of sergeant. Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Chris Kelly and Sergeant Rich Iozza!

Sergeant Kelly has proudly served with the Medford Police Department for the past 11 years. He spent much of that time in our Detective Unit, where his dedication and investigative skills helped solve numerous cases and support victims in our community.

Sergeant Iozza, formerly our most senior patrol officer, has dedicated more than 30 years to the Medford Police Department. In recent years, he has served in our Traffic Division, working tirelessly to improve roadway safety and keep our streets safe for all.

We thank both of these outstanding officers for their years of service and look forward to their continued leadership in their new roles.
