Somerville/Medford Remembering Aaden-Marcus M. Vieira

Obituary

Aaden-Marcus M. Vieira- Of Bedford, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), at the tender age of 5.

Though his time with us was far too short, Aaden touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was a strong and brave boy, wise beyond his years. He was an old soul with a kind spirit. Aaden had a natural gift for caring for others, especially his two brothers, whom he loved dearly and proudly looked after. He took his role as “the boss” seriously, always making sure things were just right and everyone was safe and happy.

Aaden found joy in the little things, building worlds with his Legos, racing toy cars, and laughing alongside his brothers during playtime. Some of his favorite adventures were simple trips to Target or Stop & Shop, whether he was picking out a new pair of pants or just walking the aisles looking for his favorite snacks soaking in the wonder of the everyday. He was a student of the Elizabeth Peabody House in Somerville.

His heart was full of love, and he always made it his mission to lift the spirits of those around him. Aaden’s warmth, compassion, and deep love for his family will be remembered and cherished forever.

He leaves behind a family who adored him more than words can express and a community forever changed by his bright and beautiful spirit.

Beloved son of Magnus M. Vieira of Somerville and Anna Tyer of Bedford. Devoted and cherished brother of Mason Vieira and Myles Vieira of Bedford. Loving grandson of Joao “Olivio” and Aline Vieira of Somerville and Dolores and Enrique Delino of the Philippines.
