Obituary

Albert W. Piacentini- Of Revere, formerly of Somerville, passed away at home peacefully with family surrounding him on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the age of 67. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the beloved son of the late Alfred Piacentini and Carol (Rego) Hayden

Albert worked for the City of Somerville’s Department of Public Works, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Albert cherished his role as a grandfather. His grandchildren brought immense joy to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. A true sports fan, Albert followed his beloved Boston teams, always rooting for the Red Sox and the Patriots.

Beloved husband of 46 years to MaryAnn (Calicchio) Piacentini.

Devoted father of Christopher Piacentini and his fiancé Natalie Holtgrefe of North Billerica, Derek Piacentini of Revere and Jacquelyn Morin and her husband Matthew of Lynn.

Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Brianne, Brooke, Aria, Sebastian, Julian, Teresa and Joshua

Dear brother of Patricia Suazo and her husband Omar of Winthrop, and Barbara Watson Palestine, TX. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
