Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Edmands Street in Somerville that runs alongside of McGrath Highway. It’s located near the intersection of Broadway and McGrath Highway in Somerville close to Dunkin Donuts.

They dug that portion of the side road up around April 13th it still looks like this today. It’s a complete eyesore of a mess that my neighbors and I have to look at everyday.

Also, if you notice in the photo that the street light is crumbling away which poses a serious safety hazard to anybody walking or driving by if it falls.

Even though it’s a side road next to McGrath Highway, it’s still a side road in the City of Somerville.

Every time that we call Somerville City Hall to complain about it, they never return our calls on anything, just broken promises as usual.
