Daley, Rose M. (McCarthy)- 94, Of Naples, Florida and Somerville where she lived most of her life passed away peaceful at Care One in Lexington on July 18, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late John A. and Nora (Welch) McCarthy.
Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Daley for 74 years.
Devoted mother of Richard “Doc” Daley and his wife Mary of Somerville, Deborah Ripley and her late husband Charles of Naples, FL, Brian Daley and his wife Debra of Medford, Noreen Straughn and her husband Glenn of Somerville, and the late Scott Daley.
Loving grandmother of Eric, Shelia, Michael, Janelle, Katelyn, Brian, Steven, Brittany, and Erin. Cherished great-grandmother of 15 and also lovingly survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling hours in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 55 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Sunday, July 23rd from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
A funeral procession will be held on Monday, July 24th at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 55 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 64 Warner St., Medford at 10:00AM.
Services will conclude with Rose being laid to rest with her beloved husband at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to her favorite charity St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Pace Memphis, TN 38105.
