JEANNETTE’S OBITUARY
Forgione, Jeannette B. ( Esposito) Of Somerville, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. She was 87.
Born in Boston and raised in Malden and East Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna M. (Camuso) Esposito. She was a foster grandparent for ABCD Head Start for 15 years. Jeannette was a woman who was dedicated to her family. Her home cooked meals and love could always be felt when spending time with her. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, they were her world. She was always filled with joy when they came to visit. On her downtime she loved to do arts and crafts and sitting outside just enjoying her surroundings. She will be missed by all who she knew.
She was the beloved wife of the late Fredrick Forgione. The devoted mother Joanne Ford, Joyce Mercier, Robert Mercier all of Somerville, Yvonne Hodgeon and her husband James of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Patricia Mangiafico and the late Frances Topping. She is also lovingly survived by many loving niece and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 24th in St. Raphael Church 512 High St., Medford at 10:00AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be Sunday July 23rd from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
