Racial & Social Justice Office Seeks Members for Youth Justice League & Ambassadors for Reimagining Policing Efforts

The City of Somerville’s Racial and Social Justice Department has two opportunities for residents to help advance and inform ongoing racial and social justice work in the city. Both are part-time, paid opportunities.

Reimagining Policing Community Engagement Ambassadors will help create community outreach plans, survey residents, coordinate public meetings, and share information about upcoming meetings and opportunities to get involved with reimagining policing efforts.

Youth Racial and Social Justice League Members will work together to create recommendations to guide the City’s creation of a Racial and Social Justice Youth Cabinet. Residents age 16 to 20 years are invited to apply.
