After more than a year of continued community engagement, we’ve integrated the feedback we received through workshops and surveys into the Brickbottom Vision Plan Draft available HERE.

The plan outlines how we can transform this area into a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood that is walkable and connected, offers multiple types of open spaces, and serves as a destination for both artists and art lovers. We wrote it with an equity-oriented framework and in alignment with the City’s comprehensive plan, SomerVision2040.

The draft is not a finished product, and we need your feedback to turn it into one. Please review it and email your thoughts and comments to planning@somervillema.gov. The public comment deadline is midnight, Wednesday, February 2.
