Real Life Somerville Police Stories: Rosa RAMOS (A&B w/ Dangerous Weapon)

On Friday, October 15, 2021, at 9:21 A.M., I responded to 402 McGrath Hwy Apt# 3 for unknown trouble. Officers Pavao, and Khoury responded as backup.

Upon arrival, we located the following individuals outside the house: XXXX (Reporting party), XXXX (Victim), and XXXX (Witness).

The reporting party stated that he owns the property and had asked XXXX and XXXX to help him move a stove out of the third-floor apartment. XXXX lives in Apt# X and XXXX lives in Apt# X.

XXXX and XXXX moved the stove out of the apartment and when they reached the second-floor landing, Rosa RAMOS (Defendant) came from behind the victim and struck him in the head with a phone charger, and left the scene immediately after assaulting the victim.

I requested EMTs to respond to the scene and evaluate the victim who had a cut on the right side of his face. The victim declined medical attention.

The defendant returned to the scene. I placed her under arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon c.265 S15A. She was transported to the Somerville Police headquarters in Unit 200, operated by Officer Taylor and booked by Lieutenant Holland.

Photographs will be attached to this report.

Respectfully,

Officer Samir Messaoudi #312
