Governor Charlie Baker signed an executive order, named “Leading by Example: Decarbonizing and Minimizing Environmental Impacts of State Government.” The order sets goals and requirements to accelerate the state’s decarbonization efforts in state agencies and public institutions of higher education with a focus on the electrification of buildings and transportation.
