Back in February my case manager from Somerville /Cambridge Elder services Anja Patenko contacted me concerning a chairlift for our home. She asked if we were still looking to install one.

I told her that we put it on the back burner because it was to cost inhibitive. She said to me what if I told you I could have it installed for free. I said to her do you know how much one of those cost, she said yes I know. I said to her I don’t believe it, you’re telling me I could have a chair lift installed inside and outside at no cost. She said yes.

The Lifts have now been installed and I am still in disbelief that we paid zero for the lifts thanks to Somerville Cambridge elder services case manager Anja Patenko and also President Biden for allocating the funds to them.
