Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Notice now the city is finally getting to doing something about the masks and gloves people are finding all over the streets and parking lots. We have been telling them that for over a month with pictures even. Now they finally get that? Where have they been hiding so long they couldn’t get to that. Maybe a phone call to the health department takes over a month to get to? We need working council members so issues that come up with the city can be handled as they happen. Not a month or so later. Why not wait for the virus cure first? We need a working council at this time. Not wait and ignore and see if the problem goes away council.

  1. Gee, they finally are getting to this. Sure take their time when people are dying. And our newest member who took over the one working council member we had has assured us with this statement about these gloves and masks tossed out on the ground. “I want to clarify that do not believe there are any studies that have found that Covid can be transmitted through the water system.” Luckiest person I know. Shows up, grabs a low income Assembly apartment, get s endorsed by the mayor and gets in because our one working council member had to take care of family. I have been writing about this and posting pictures as also other people have. Nice to see how they care and rush to take care of a serious health emergency.
