‪Somerville city councilor for ward 1, Matt McLaughlin was speaking at the memorial at the city hall concourse this past Thursday to recognize the 77 Somerville residents who died from opioid abuse, 7 who died this year.

McLaughlin told the crowd “I’m proud to be in a city that recognizes this as an “us” problem and not a “them” problem. We must all do our part.”
