The Foodie Crawl is a tasting tour of more than a dozen restaurants, who provide a sample of their specialty cuisines. The crawl, which began in 2011, features an incredibly diverse range of food from around the globe, including Brazilian, Ethiopian, Italian, Mexican, Salvadorian, and more.

Foundation Kitchen is a shared culinary workspace in East Somerville on Washington Street that offers work space for food –startups and small businesses. East Somerville Main Streets is excited to be able to highlight this local business and its associated members at Foodie Crawl this year!
The East Broadway Business District offers is home to some of the city’s best local restaurants, serving
trademark authentic food. This year’s participating restaurants include La Brasa, Vinny’s, Gauchao
Brazilian Cuisine, Maya Sol, Casey’s, Ola Cafe, Fasika, Mount Vernon Resturant, Rincon Mexicano and
others. Food will be served from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Deano’s Pasta will be hosting a beer garden
New to Foodie Crawl this year includes a special pop-up at Connexion featuring Foundation Kitchen
And the event has a mission to boot. East Somerville Main Streets is committed to building a safe,
sustainable and prosperous multicultural community by developing a vibrant business district at the
neighborhood’s heart – and all proceeds from the event will forward this goal.
Tickets for the Foodie Crawl are on sale now. You can buy them for $20 in advance for online. $25 at the
door if there are still tickets. For high school and college students, they are $15 in advance and $20 door
(ID required), Kids (between ages 5-14) are $5 and Kids under 5 are Free.
