As Bryan Bishop will tell you, he has been trying to put together a Memorial Day event on the Mystic River for years. This year, the weather finally came through for Bryan and the people of Somerville. Memorial on the Mystic featured the melodious vocals of Bishop, vocal ensemble N’Harmony, and the Somerville High School Chorus, all accompanied by the Metropolitan Wind Symphony. In addition to hosting, singing, and coordinating for the event, Bryan even found time to talk to pose for a few pictures

Around 8:50, the fireworks began lighting up the Mystic. It was a phenomenal display best summed up with a series of pictures. Enjoy!
