David Powers, the innocent bystander hero who hip-checked last week’s bank robbery suspect into a plant causing him to drop his backpack to the ground which was caring his weapon and money that he had stolen moments earlier from the Middlesex Federal Savings Bank.
It took bravery to make that kind of a move placing his own life in danger as he noticed a police officer chasing the bank robbery suspect down the street in Davis Square.
David describes himself on LinkedIn as “I’m a full-stack web developer specializing in Ruby on Rails. I enjoy building things and the art of brevity.”
He also has a wonderful sense of humor and states on his page “If you’re messaging me and include a joke, I will do my best to respond. Otherwise, no promises.”
