Somerville Remembering Manuel Borges of the Neighborhood Restaurant

Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Manuel Borges on his passing this past week.

Manuel Borges was a very nice man and an icon who demonstrated wonderful family values in this city who will be sadly missed by many here in Somerville.

A message from his family and staff of the Neighborhood Restaurant:

“Manuel Borges our dad and grandpa has passed away at 97. He is the reason we have our cream of wheat and our beautiful grapevine. Our chef since 1983. His staff has been asked to continue in his foot steps and keep his doors always open as always!”

SERVICES for Manuel are at ROGERS FUNERAL HOME CAMBRIDGE TUESDAY Nov 27th 5-8 and funeral mass on Wednesday Nov 28th at 9 am at St Anthony’s Church on Cambridge st. Cambridge.
