Ann was a wonderful person and she will be sadly missed here in Somerville.

MONTALTO, Ann G. (Trainito) – Of Somerville and Wareham September 26, 2018. Beloved wife of 60 years to Peter Montalto Jr. Loving mother of Deborah Connolly and her husband John, Joanne Keefe and her husband Tommy, and Peter Montalto III all of Somerville. Dear sister of Jacqueline Leon and her husband Robert of Wakefield, Carmela Cannella and her husband Al of Attleboro, Charles Trainito of Malden, Mary Poirier of Saugus and her late husband John, Richard Trainito and his wife Roseann of Peabody. Best friend of Alice Pagliaro. Cherished grandmother of Megan Arruda and her husband Michael, Michelle Connolly, Thomas Keefe and Adrianna Keefe. Adored great grandmother of Owen and Haleigh Anne Arruda. Ann was loved and cherished by many neices, nephews and godchildren. Ann’s love of cooking brought family and friends together. Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeal Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Monday morning at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, Somerville at 10:00. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Sunday afternoon 2-6. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann’s memory to the Mt.
