Each year, the Somerville Rotary Club awards two scholarships to deserving Somerville residents and high school seniors who are planning on going to college. On May 22, 2018 we were honoured by the presence of one of this year’s scholarship winners at our weekly meeting. Mei Mei Collins, a senior at Somerville High School is the President of the Somerville High School National Honor Society.
Mei Mei will be attending Harvard University in the fall to study Environmental Engineering. We expect to hear great things about Mei Mei as she advances toward her future goals! Congratulations Mei Mei! Big thanks to our Rotary Past-President, Paul Kaufman for his hard work every year on the Rotary Educational Fund.
