Somerville Community Preservation Act Funding Opportunities

Community Preservation Act resources fund affordable housing, recreation, open space and historic preservation projects throughout Somerville. It’s invested more than $12 million back into the community and has funded 78 units of affordable housing, the refurbishment of Prospect Hill Tower, the construction of Hoyt Sullivan Playground, and scores of other projects. On April 25, attend a public hearing to discuss how to spend new funds over the upcoming year. Also, join us for a workshop about applying for funding. The pre-application workshop takes place at 6 p.m. and the public hearing takes place at 7 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Association, 259 Lowell St.

  1. The Honor Roll Memorial – Please spend some of that CPA fund to refurbish this memorial. It’s not looking great these days and its only right to maintain this in better shape.
