Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Ida D’Ovidio on her passing this past month.
Ida D’Ovidio was a wonderful lady who will be sadly missed here in Somerville by many.

SENATE PASSES CONSUMER PROTECTION LEGISLATION
BOSTON — The Massachusetts State Senate voted Thursday to pass several pieces of consumer protection legislation, including a bill to protect individuals who default on their educational loans from professional licensure penalties, and another to protect the personal information of consumers in the case of data breaches, like the one seen at Equifax, and provide free credit freezes for all consumers.

Teen Empowerment and Somerville Police Departments 4th Annual Youth Police Basketball Game
The game was Youth and Police playing together to build relationships and breakdown barriers. The game was won by the Team in Black over the team in Red 67-51.
