After the winter hiatus, street sweeping resumes on Monday, April 2. To avoid a $50 ticket, make sure to move your car on designated street sweeping days in your neighborhood. Information is posted on parking signs throughout Somerville.

You can also sign up for automatic reminders at somervillema.gov/sweeping. We’ve tried to verify the schedules for more than 36,000 sections of road, but there could be a few errors in the system. If you notice any, please report them to us. Also, please remember it is ultimately your responsibility to check parking signs and move your car on designated street sweeping days.
