Somerville Pop Warner dedicated Sunday’s games at Dilboy Stadium in honor of Louis M. Remigio.

Louis was a long time member and Coach of SPW, Louis always cared and loved the children and families of Somerville.

Even after coaching and serving our City as a SPD Officer he was still reaching out to our members.

SPW placed a police ribbon sticker with Officer Louis badge number 193 on the back of every child’s helmet.

Our members played with pride in memory of Officer Louis. The Families and fans watched as every team took the field especially the younger ages, D team as they lined the field with arms locked for a moment of silence before the coin toss.

The older team, A team dedicated their game to Big Lou and shut out Manchester NH, 28 – 0.

The SOW Family will finish out the season wearing Lou’s #193 in memory, SPW thanks Louis for the memories and time dedicated to the children of our great City.
