Dear Billy T and Somerville Speakup Line,
Here is another piece of crucial investigation information in regards pertaining to the Somerville Police Department and Mayor Curtatone and his cousin Alex the Cop’s investigation of the death of a well known drug dealer that took place in 2003 that involved Mayor Curtatone‘s cousin Alex the cop was all covered up.
All evidence recorded with Curtatone’s cousin Alex the cop was all tampered with. When the district attorney got the case the recorders with recordings of his cousin Alex the cop taking orders for illegal narcotic drugs and answering machines and cell phones were all missing.
That evidence was strategically planned in intentionally handed to a higher up officer and it was provenly believed to be a captain, Police Captain Cotter.
That missing evidence recorder had messages on it with Alex’s voice saying that he, (Mayor Curtatone‘s cousin Police Officer Alex) needed more pills and that he had buyers for it, And much much more All this went under the rug.
The Massachusetts State Police and FBI anti corruption units should get heavily involved with this and question the police chief under oath and get it out of him since the chief nor his two deputies are not coming forward on their own and place Captain Cotter under arrest immediately then throw the book at him or even them all!
It’s very obvious that the chief is waiting for the election the blow by but hopefully the voters will open their eyes and put their best foot forward behind the voting curtain and vote Curtatone out of office.
All of us police officers have taken an oath and we have an obligation to fulfill, but these few bad cop’s oaths and obligations have been intentionally and unfaithfully broken here in Somerville.
Citizens count on local police to do the right thing, to protect and to serve with honesty and integrity, but when they are acting like their on the take or covering up information for an elected official like scumbag Curtatone, well then I’m sorry we have no respect for them at all.
Many police and firefighters and not just here in this department, but many departments all over the country have been fired for far, far less for even posting something stupid on their Facebook pages. But here you have posted months and months of overwhelming evidence and a blind eye and cheek are always turned to protect these corrupt self serving individuals.
Please don’t mention my name or family names because the mayor will have the chief of police fire me like he did to many other fine honest police officers who came forward and got involved in the mayor‘s Cousin’s or any other hand picked criminal police investigations.
Your investigative articles are awesome, please keep up the great work Billy. That P.O.S. Mayor Curtatone had the gaul to nod at us at Officer Lou Remigio’s funeral just before the hearse pulled up in front of St. Clements,
We wanted to rip his head off, too many people watching, we just glared at him and then ignored him, come to think of it, I think he was high then.
And just our luck, we were sitting in one of the back pews in the church when his squirmy sister with some guy, arrives late, after the eulogy and sits two rows right in front of us.
During the whole mass she too sniffed alot rubbing her nose and could not sit still, kept looking around really paranoid, needless to say it was annoying to watch, which ruined the rest of the funeral mass for us and for whoever else witnessed her disgraceful behavior.
