It looks like Mayor Joe and his campaign staffers are more petrified of us here at the News then they are of his own opponent. They’re all concentrating on everything that we do here at the Somerville News Weekly and cringing every time that they see one our articles pop up exposing all the corruption and all the many witnesses coming forward. You gotta love it!

More and more interesting facts are pouring into the newsroom about the hostile eminent domain taking of the bowling alley that we wrote about last month. Apparently the bowling alley property was supposed to have been taken to be used as the new T Station. But somehow the mayor instead allegedly convinced the T to take the property across the street instead and leaving the bowling alley available at his own will for his own private development partners to develop . And by the way the property across the street where the T is now going is now conveniently owned by the former alderman now turned attorney who now owns it . Wasn’t that convenient?

Rumors are coming in and flying around like crazy with witnesses/sources telling us that Mayor Joe allegedly promised the owner of Royal W Laundry on Cedar Street that if refused other potential buyers and if he sold his building to that former alderman that turned attorney that he would have his DPW commissioner delete his $500,000 outstanding water bill and he allegedly supposedly did.
After the building was sold to the former alderman/attorney, the property was then developed, turned in the condos then sold.
Also if you will notice that sidewalks along that property on Cedar Street that the sidewalks are all still cracked and broken making it a very dangerous.
The city of Somerville is very strict with developer’s new development properties and they are very hard and scrutinize the new owners to change sidewalks as they go along with the project, but as you can see the rules here were completely overlooked for that special political favor to that former alderman/attorney on this deal.
We are still researching this report to bring you confirmation of exact times and dates.
All the FBI would have to do in this case would be to look up this and every property that this man owns in Somerville and search the property’s track record of it’s outstanding water bill and water liens records and track to see if any $500,000 payment was made and if the actual $500,000 water lien was dropped off the face of the earth or not, very simple to do.
We remember when Mayor Joe just first took office in 2004 and reading a news article reading about this guys property had over $1million in unpaid Somerville Municipal water liens back then. It would be interesting to see if it’s all gone now and where it went?
We will keep you up to speed on these allegations as this story continues to unfold…

As we are getting closer to the November 7th General Election and people are noticing Mayor Joe’s ratings are slipping away more and more everyday, people are coming forward with witnessed allegations of corruption of the Curtatone Administration.
Most of his self appointed municipal associates are now fighting to save their jobs are jumping ship and now facing retaliation against coming out against this dictator of a mayor.
We’re even hearing that some of his employed spy’s in the city are even stooping as low as even secretly tape-recording Somerville Employee Union meetings and then running back to the DPW Commissioner so he can penalize them at the yard. Now that’s Desperation!

Let’s send Somerville Police Chief David Fallon a message and urge him to act immediately today, not tomorrow on the so many crimes that this administration is guilty for! If he cannot comply with this urgent demand to seek criminal complaints against these accused career criminals that were mentioned in article, “The Grand Theft of Somerville, The Untold Story” going after including Mayor Curtatone, Commissioner Koty and Captain Cotter, Ed Bean and Mike Browne then we are urging him to contact the Federal Bureau of investigation and let them do the job for him!
