A few years back, Ocean State Job Lots was interested in leasing out the old Star Market that’s located on Broadway in Winter Hill. As I recall correctly, Mayor Curtatone went out of his way to see that the development deal fell through. This past Saturday, musicians and bands throughout Somerville celebrated and utilized an underused public venue: The Porch.
