Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week Michael Santangelo

Born and raised a hometown Somerville guy, Michael graduated from Somerville Trade School in 1985 then later went on to get his Master Electrician’s license. For the past twentyfive years, he has been an electrician for the Somerville Housing Authority after actually growing up there.

Michael chose as well to open two electrical contracting company businesses in Somerville which he currently owns and operates both in the city that employs many Somerville residents.

Michael always gives back to the community as well where he can be found playing in a huge supporting role in the winter months donating countless hours of his time refereeing Somerville Youth Ice Hockey games at the Somerville ice rink for local children. 

Our hats are off to his true Somerville spirit!
