Late Tuesday morning, a man allegedly that was running from police jumped over an embankment by Tufts Street and McGrath Highway in Somerville.
Train service was halted for over an hour while police and firefighters treated the man for his injuries sustained, a broken leg, from the fall.
Police are also investigating to uncover if the man is a possible police chase suspect.
