Friends,

For those of you not yet registered online there are less 24 hours left. The online registration will be closed on Friday, June 10th at 11:00AM. Same day registration will be offered (until 9:45AM), however, you must pay by cash or check.   

We are really excited to be hosting this event and are honored to be doing so with the Curtis family in memory of Sean. The Ryan Harrington Foundation believes in simple truths. One of which is in times of tragedy we must stand together as a community. We open our arms and our hearts to them in this difficult time.  
There is no doubt about it – this disease is monstrous. Which means we must stand together to beat it into submission. There are 23 million Americans living in long-term addiction recovery. This is proof that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE. Through the foundation we will continue to help as many people battling the disease of addiction as we can. We will do so ONE (step, mile, day, run) life at a time. We have been humbled by the support of so many.  
We want to thank you for your continued help and support in memory of Ryan, of Sean, and all of those who died trying to beat this disease.

Event Details:
Just One Run – In Memory of Sean P. Curtis
When: Sunday, June 12, 2016  
Where: Blessing of the Bay Boathouse – 32 Shore Drive, Somerville
Kickoff: 10AM Adults / 9:30AM Kids 1/2 k Fun Run
Bib Pickup:
For your convenience Bibs/bags can be picked up prior to race day on Saturday 6/11 between 11am and 3pm at Marathon Sports Cambridge located at 1654 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge. This is not mandatory. You can pick up your bib on race day at our registration tables. 
Parking at event:
The boat house parking lot is very small and will be used for organizing the event. However, because the race takes place on a Sunday, permit parking will NOT be in affect throughout the neighborhood. 
Registration:

Same day registration opens at 9AM and closes at 9:45AM (cash and check only).
Adult 5K:
Adult 5k will kick off at 10:00am

Kids Run:
Our 1/2K Fun Run (for kids ages 3 to 12) will start at 9:30AM. Note: We will walk the kids back but essentially it starts across from 139 Shore Drive.
Course Map:
You can take a look at the course map here: Just One Run Offical 5k Course. The course is a flat course that winds through some trails in the Mystic River Reservation. It will be well make by orange cones.  
Narcan Training:
There will be two Narcan Trainings put on by the Aids Action Network-Needle Exchange Program. The first training will be held at 9:30AM and the second at 11:00AM.
Awards & Closing Ceremony:
Awards Ceremony will begin at 11:00AM. Stick around after for sum music and fun. Event will officially end at noontime.
Activities:
There will be refreshments, music (Country 102.5 will be playing live from the boathouse). The Shriners clowns will be there. We will also have face painting and lots of games for kids to play (such as corn toss, sauce toss, etc,). The Inventor Mentor Terry Murray will be there for bubble making and you’ll find many resource tables from a variety of addiction and family support groups.
