Somerville Lions Club Celebrates Huge Success at Charity Brunch

This past Sunday, the Somerville Lion’s Club held its annual Somerville Lion’s Club Charity Brunch at the Mount Vernon Restaurant that’s located on Broadway in Somerville.
Over three hundred people attended the annual event and enjoyed a scrumptious brunch complete with prime rib, oysters, lobster bisque and the list goes on.
The club also raffled off a “Wheelbarrow Full of Cheer” that was donated by the club members and Woody’s Liquors of Somerville for the lucky winner to enjoy.
Proceeds from the event went to benefit local Lions Club charities including helping to find a cure for blindness.
