LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston has two recent additions that visitors can enjoy during Massachusetts school vacation week, April 16-24- The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure and Space Mission.
In February, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston premiered The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure. The 15-minute 4D movie continues the adventures of Emmet, Wyldstyle and their friends as they receive a mysterious invitation to a new theme park.
Opened in late March, Space Mission is an interactive space-themed area that will offer an intergalactic building experience where visitors can explore alien worlds built entirely out of thousands of LEGO bricks. Guests will also be able to build and launch their own space rocket and take over the controls of Mission HQ.
In addition to the new parts of the attraction, guests can also build their own space-themed models that will be displayed on the “Cool Creations” wall during the week. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder Megan Quigley will do a cosmic takeover of MINILAND incorporating space-themed builds including aliens, spaceships and comets. Visitors can also participate in the MINILAND scavenger hunt to see if they can find cool and unique items that are hidden within the mini-city.
LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will have special vacation week hours, Monday-Saturday 10 am-9 pm and Sunday, 10 am-7 pm (last admission is two hours prior to close.) Advance tickets are suggested to guarantee admission and can be purchased online at http://www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/boston.
