Terror has no specific age, no specific gender, nor no specific color no religion.
It can strike anywhere anytime to anybody.
Terror defined:

\ˈter-ər, ˈte-rər\ter·ror

(A very strong feeling of fear

: something that causes very strong feelings of fear : something that is terrifying

: violence that is committed by a person, group, or government in order to frighten people and achieve a political goal)

Our recent article regarding a middle school aged student at the West Somerville Neighborhood School prompted huge concern this past week in Somerville.

The major concern was regarding the lack of communication between Somerville School Department Superintendent Mary Skipper and the citizens of Somerville.

These days if your child has a cold, a fever or even diarrhea the entire community of parents at the very least is contacted and made aware of the situation in public schools.

But regarding the lack of communication between the city and parents regarding the situation of the alleged manifest a middle school student had to carry out the killings of white students in Somerville is unacceptable.

Superintendent Mary Skipper has an obligation as a school superintendent, just like a doctor has an oath to heal, a newspaper has an obligation to report the news and a superintendent has an oath and obligation to protect our children.
Regardless of who ever told her not to do so, if that’s the case, is an unacceptable excuse as well.

Superintendent Mary Skipper has failed miserably in her obligation and role as superintendent and should step down immediately.

We here at The Somerville News Weekly did our job and did what we had to do to make the public was aware of the situation.

Comments made by some on social media that have no clue of the thoughts of our actions is regardless. We did our job, we fulfilled our obligation as reporters, we informed the public of what was going on behind the curtain. Our conscience is clear.

Statement of the Somerville News Weekly Regarding “Terror Threat in Somerville”

Somerville’s new Superintendent of Schools Mary Skipper’s response to the public regarding this story is that it is “Irresponsible Journalism” on The Somerville News Weekly’s behalf about the story that we wrote saying it wasn’t true.

Actually we have now learned that it’s allegedly the second time that this West Somerville Neighborhood School student has done this and he was allegedly using twenty dollars a week to save up for guns.

But now that the truth has surfaced and it was very irresponsible on the Somerville School Departments behalf and the superintendent not to have backbone enough to report it nor warn parents of the existing threat the first time and again this second time.

Whether it was violent or non violent situation, the parents of Somerville’s students should know.

Immediately after this article broke, the administration has gather their troops in a huddle and are circling their wagons around to cover their behinds due to the fact that they did not report the incident when it happened regarding the story.
We have also recently learned today that they have allegedly placed this student of Muslim religion who bullied other students into paying him to join his club into evaluation and returning him into the public school system within 45 days.

In a Somerville Public School statement released today, it clearly states that an incident in fact did occur “Based on information brought to our attention last week and immediately reported to Somerville Police, an investigation was launched that revealed no threat. Because no threat was found and the student involved is a minor no additional information can be shared at this time.”

Whether it was a violent or nonviolent incident why wasn’t it reported to parents and of course they can also hide behind the fact that the pupil was a juvenile.

We stand by our reliable sources 100% who are frustrated that the administration nor the superintendent did absolutely nothing to warn parents and we stand by our story 100% that it is true and an incident did occur.

Again, in our opinion, Somerville’s new Superintendent of Schools Mary Skipper should step down immediately!
