Senator Sal DiDomenico recently took part in a panel discussion at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government on how we can get young people more engaged in the political process. The other panelists included former Detroit Congressman Dennis Hertel, Founder of Ivy League Advisor, Dr. Wasif Syed, and the founder of Students for Increased Voter Engagement through Registration (SILVER), Swetha Ramesha. “It is crucial that we find ways to get our young people more involved in government,” said Senator DiDomenico. “It was my pleasure to speak with students and my fellow distinguished panelists as we discussed issues that are very important to me, including pre-registering our youth .” This event was sponsored by SILVER.
