Somerville Entrepreneur’s Tumble Inn Diner Celebrates Second Anniversary

Congratulations to local, good guys who are celebrating their second successful year in business at the Tumble Inn Diner.
Rick Scirocco of Somerville and Laurie Cunha of East Boston, who prepared and put out an enormous amount of great dishes of well prepared food for the general public to enjoy and help celebrate , their second anniversary of opening the diner.
This is their way of showing appreciation for the loyal patronage of their customers, friends and family for theTumble Inn Diner patrons.  
Scirocco said in an interview “We feel that it’s always a must, to give back to the community because that’s how I was raised, and that’s how I live my life every day.”
Scirocco, a native born and raised in Somerville for the past fifty years this April, Rick is no stranger to pitching in his efforts and donating his timed or the good of the community. 
Scirocco also stated “I have participated in dozens of local and national fundraising programs since my youth and it has been my pleasure , to assist in raising millions to help others less fortunate.”
Through the Diner, Laurie and Rick currently raise money for scholarships , cancer research and many other programs such as assisting the local Saugus Chamber of Commerce with their annual Taste for Education.
 Also, with the Medford Kiwanis Club, they recently participated in their annual Taste of Italy program that generates thousands of dollars for fundraising.  
Currently the Diner crew is working on their own annual “Toys for Tots” project. They currently donate toys for children combined with the efforts of State Senator Sal DiDomenico and Mass Badge .  
Their efforts are unwavering and we wish them years of future success in their endeavors.  
Help support their efforts by making time to stop in , and taste some of their specialty foods.
