Over one hundred Somerville friends and relatives of Deanna Cremin including Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Mayor, Joseph Curtatone, local community leaders and police gathered at Saint Ann’s Church on Medford Street on Monday night with Deanna’s family for a very special mass dedicated entirely to Deanna in observance of twenty years since her death.
After the service the crowd formed a procession and walked carrying candles to the Deanna Cremin Memorial Square a few blocks away for a brief vigil.
On Monday Deanna’s murder will have gone unsolved for 20 years. The family humbly notified The Somerville News Weekly to post a request that read “Please disseminate the attached flyer through any channel available to you. Email, Facebook, Twitter, web site etc. We are desperate. It’s been 20 years and we now starting to fear that Deanna’s murder will never be solved. All we have is the hope that this flyer will reach the right eyes and give someone the push that they need to come forward. Please consider helping us get this out there. Let’s get resolution once and for all.
Sincerely,
Friends and Family of Deanna Cremin”
