1926 – 2015 | Obituary

Flynn, William Wright 88, died January 26, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born April 10, 1926 in Somerville, Massachusetts to Bartholomew and Adeline (Wright) Flynn, one of nine children. Bill married his wife Catherine on February 10, 1961.

He worked at Arlington Fuel for over 45 years as an Oil Serviceman.

Bill served as Commodore four times, starting in the early 60’s, spanning over four decades for the Winter Hill Yacht Club. He was instrumental in relocating and building the new clubhouse.

He is survived by his wife Catherine; daughter Virginia Ann Thompson (Dan); his grandson Aaron (Dorothy); and two great-grandchildren Austin and Allyson, all of Naples, Florida; his brothers Robert, Peter, Larry (Jean), and Joan (wife of his late brother Donald). A memorial service will be held in Naples, FL. Memorials are suggested to Avow Hospice of Naples. Their caring and genuine compassion will be remembered and appreciated forever.
