On Wednesday, August 6 enjoy food, music, dancing, and more starting at 11 a.m. at Powderhouse Park. Tickets are available at the Holland Street Center (167 Holland St.), Cross Street Center (165 Broadway), Ralph & Jenny Center (9 New Washington St.), and Mayor’s Office/City Hall (93 Highland Ave).

Five rental units at 625 McGrath Highway will be available to income-qualified households at an affordable rent through the City’s Inclusionary Housing Program. The affordable units are one studio apartment, two one-bedroom units, and two two-bedroom units.

There will be an information session for anyone interested in applying for the units on Thursday, August 7, at 6 p.m., at the Visiting Nurse Association 3rd Floor Conference Room, 259 Lowell St. If you are unable to attend the information session, but would still like to apply to rent one of the units, you must contact Housing Program Specialist Vicki Wairi at 617-625-6600 x 2577 or vwairi@somervillema.gov BEFORE August 7.
