Bill Tauro has been installed this past week as the Somerville Lions Club’s new “President/King Lion” for 2014/2015.

This is Tauro’s third term as president. He was also elected president as well back in 2010 and 2011.

Lions Club members from surrounding communities such as Boston Chinatown, Westwood and Cambridge attended an installation reception at the Somerville in his honor at Lions Club that’s located on New Washington Street in Somerville.

Their mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
