Martins Arrest

On 6/8/2014 while assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division I was summoned to the police station to meet a Cambridge Detective. He told me that he was investigating a robbery that
occurred on 6/8/2014 at 03:39 in Cambridge. The victim reported that his keys, and wallet containing credit cards and his cell phone were taken in the robbery. The suspect was arrested by Somerville P.D. based on probable cause. He was transferred to Cambridge Police.

I learned from Detective that the suspect had used the victims credit cards in the City of Somerville. One of the credit cards was used at Targets 180 Somerville Ave. The card was denied. A second credit card was also used at Targets and the card was approved. The total amount of that purchase was $96.76. Both transaction are on video. See Cambridge Police Report. There may be other charges to follow. The defendant did use one of the credit cards at McDonalds, Twin City Mall Somerville.
