This past Saturday afternoon thousands of people showed up to partake in the festivities at the “Annual 2014 Food Truck Festival” located down at Assembly Row in Somerville.

There were dozens of food trucks with every kind of food menus imaginable to satisfy one’s appetite.

At 1 p.m. This Sunday June 8th join Somerville Historic Preservation Commission and Historic Somerville for a tour of the Milk Row Cemetery. Head over to City Hall at 2 p.m. for a guided bike tour of Somerville’s innovative people, places and products. The historical ride is organized by the Somerville Historic Preservation Commission and the Somerville Bicycle Committee. Somerville Police Department officers will accompany riders on the tour.

Somerville’s Fall 2013 Cycling and Pedestrian Count showed a 16% increase in people commuting by bike. Not only is that the highest level ever, it’s also 80% higher than our first count in 2010!
