There are Somerville residents who cannot shovel themselves out due to injury, illness, or other factors. If you’re interested in volunteering through the City to help shovel, please contact Youth and Volunteer Services Coordinator Nancy Bacci at nbacci@somervillema.gov. To volunteer through the City, we do require a CORI check. If you haven’t already signed up, it may be too late for this weekend’s weather, but that doesn’t stop you and your neighbors from organizing on your own.
