The following is a brief summary of the facts as they pertain to case number 13044916.
On the evening of Thursday, December 5, 2013 I was assigned to marked unit E-3, with Officer Pasqualino. At approximately 17:50 hrs, I was dispatched along with E-4 (Officers Diaz) and W-5 (Officer Schnider) to 85 Central Street for a Domestic Assault. Upon our arrival we were met by the victim in this matter, ). v stated that prior to police arrival she was at the above given address to gather her belongings so she could move out of her boyfriend’s apartment.
It was at this point, Davy Silva became very enraged, he began to grab v by the right upper arm and started slamming her in to the door to the apartment. When she got free from, Mr. Silva she told him that she was going to call the police. It was at this point that he stated that he would kill her if she tries to leave him. Mr. Silva had fled the residence before we arrived, after canvassing the area for Mr. Silva, E-4 (Officer Diaz) was able to located him on Hudson Street just a few streets away from where the crime was committed. Mr. Silva was then placed into custody, Unit 200 was requested to transport him to the police station to be booked in the usual manner by the shift commander Sgt. J. Marino. v was advised of her 209A rights, she stated that she would file for a restraining order first thing in the morning.
