Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
? Mike Felony had to leave…
You understand that….for the past 4 years SCC Joe’s last years even before the debacle at Millbrook etc. The 100 homes project had huge numbers of empty apts. People on waiting list…lotteries…. government money coming in…
So SCC loses the management of 100 homes project, entirely they tried to say (felony said it was to better organize) matainence. SCC They lost
Inclusionary also.
Still city gave them new units.
Kelly Donato left 2 years ago and Felony left now. Enough research with a shovel things would look very dirty. But lisa Davidson has been in the mix of this on going trash. I am pretty sure Mike Felony knew it was time to go.
Best regards and Happy New Year,
A concerned Somerville resident
Below is how the SCC is supposed to function in a normal world: The Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) is a non-profit organization in Somerville, MA, that works to preserve the city’s diversity by creating affordable housing, promoting economic stability, and empowering residents through leadership and community organizing. It develops and preserves affordable homes, offers job training and financial literacy programs, and advocates for policies that support low- and moderate-income residents and new immigrants
